Multi-clone Mechanical Dust Collectors

High Temperature multiple tube dust collectors. Our collectors use high efficiency bell mouth inlets and peripheral discharge boots for maximum efficiency.

The Barron Fan Technology Multi-clone Dust Collector provides an efficient and reliable method to remove particulate from your gas stream in order to reduce fan erosion with a minimum of maintenance.

  • Bell Mouth inlet vanes offer a reduced pressure drop and greater resistance to plugging
  • Cast Iron tubes - greater abrasion resistance than fabricated plate
  • Offered in fully accessible or non-accessible designs
  • 33 years of continuous design improvements
Collectors are available in three tube sizes
  • 10" Diameter: Best used for light dust loads. Provides the greatest efficiency, but may be more likely to plug at higher grain loads. Normally used in boiler applications because of its high efficiency.
  • 14" Diameter: Best used as a pre-cleaner for other pollution control equipment when dust loading is high and abrasive. Less efficient than 10", but less likely to plug. Commonly used as a pre-cleaner in kiln systems.
  • 24" Diameter: Extremely heavy duty collector used for handling severe abrasives and high dust loading such as in sintering applications.

Sloped Tube Sheet Multi-clone Collector

In may cases, the accessible design collector is unnecessary or impractical due to space limitations. For non-abrasive dust loads the need for component repair may be low. In these cases, the Sloped Tube Sheet Collector can save money. It is a more compact design requiring less structural support. It uses the same bell mouth tubes for improved efficiency.
